| Model: Spacemaster | Frameforks: All steel, hand crafted in England. | | Colour: Gold (faded) | Age: 1975 | | Gears: 3 speed Sturmey Archer. | Brakes: Atom, Caliper | | Handlebars: Chromed steel | Pedals: White rubber. | | Stem: ITM | Seatpost: Chromed steel | | Saddles: Brooks sprung, white vinyl (with slight ware) | Wheels: 20 Chromed steel rims & hubs, galvanised spokes. | | Cranks: Cottered chromed steel. | Chainwheel: Chromed steel | Other details: Nice retro oval shaped main tube, with a rare 'Trusty' (patent applied for) twist locking hinge mechanism, this works well and adds to that 70's retro look. This is a good bike in good usable, ready to ride condition, but showing signs of uuse and age.
The paintwork has faded, but was gold, most of the chrome parts are in good condition, the wheel rims have slight rust pitting (not bad), I have fitted new brake cables (in old sleavs), I have given this the once over, the tyres & brake blocks are old, but have life in them yet. So basically a tatty looking good to go retro folding bike, for everyday use, great for camping etc. SOLD! | |
