You can get the history at http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/granby.html This is a great bike in good condition, but does need some work, not sure if it would be correct to say it needs restoring, but if you have the time and knowledge, it's all there but the chrome is nearly all gone, there is signs of chrome on the rear dropouts going up the stays, and also on the front forks, the rims, hubs, cranks & chainwheel all need re-chroming, the bars and stem are not as bad but if your doing the rest! the saddle is cracked & perished, but still usable (easily replaced)
The tubes are amazing with the tapering, its rideable if you oil & grease, fit new innertubes.
The frame and forks appear fine with not alot of ware and tare, just mild surface rust etc. Frame number 1778.
This is another found in a garage bike that is in near original condition & I think rare!
