I can't find much info on this make? I know Hinds built the Speedsix for Moulton cycles back in the 60's.
this is a really nice, well balanced bike, with ornate lugwork, chromed fork & rear stay ends, frame number: 59253 and Guy Simplex stamped on rear dropuots. Gordon Pollington I assume was the rider? (any info would be appreciated) this looks as though it is as original, athough it has some braze ons removed on the downtube above the gear levers, and there is holes for a headbadge on the head tube, it is in need of some work as there is scratches & chips to paintwork, there is rust to chrome parts particularly on the rims, the oiling nipple on the bottom bracket is missing, and a deep graze on the downtube, but apart from that its all there & in ridable condition, so could just be serviced & away you go, or restored, it also has full Bluemels safeguard mudguards.
I have listed with a high price till I find out more info & value, please send me any info you may have. | |
