| Model: Pro Race championship series. | Frameforks: Tange Japan frame & forks, 18 inch top tube. | | Colour: Chrome | Age: 1985 | | Gears: Single speed | Brakes: Dia-compe MX calipers, blocks & levers | | Handlebars: 2 peice. | Pedals: SR Custom alloy pedals. | | Stem: Suntour | Seatpost: Chromed steel with Suntour alloy clamp | | Saddles: Kashimax Aero, Raleigh BMX plastic saddle | Wheels: Araya 20 x 1.75 anodised alloy Aero/dome rims, Suntour sealed mech alloy hubs, galvanised spokes | | Cranks: Sugino Cr-Mo 1 piece & Tange bottom bracket | Chainwheel: Sugino BMX spider & 44-48 alloy chainwheel | | Other details: Here we have a classic Raleigh Aero pro race burner from the mid 80's, this is the most sought after of the burner series, a quality build by Tange Japan, nice lightweight, well balance BMX, all as original, Tange grips, adjustable brakesm original decals etc, unfortunately it has been stored in a damp room (basement) most of its life, hardly ever ridden, so is ready to ride but has alot of surface rust, I have rubbed off the worst so you can have a good look, its sound, nothing deep, just surface, but could do with a re-chrome, there are no dents, cracks or re-welds, everything is working, tyres aren't even perished, I have been riding this around & its areally nice ride, if it wasn't for the rust it would feel & look new, so not alot of wear etc, its all cosmetic, so sold as a restoration project, in good ready to ride condition (such a pity about the chrome!)
