| Model: Unknown | Frameforks: All steel 22 inch | | Colour: Brown | Age: 1930's ? | | Gears: Single speed | Brakes: Cantilever mechanism. (SIM Bte SGOE) | | Handlebars: Chromed steel | Pedals: Lyotard (later addition) | | Stem: Avon? | Seatpost: Alloy | | Saddles: Sprint leather | Wheels: 26 inch, steel rims | | Cranks: Cottered | Chainwheel: Chromed steel | | Other details: I have here a bit of an unknown? so any info appreciated! it's a gents tourer road bike, I think from France, it has Royal Fabric (faded) decals on the sides of the downtube, it appears to date from the 1930's, with its nice alloy art deco light set, and chainguard, its a single speed, but does have a Deraileur drop out, has full mudguards, it all seems to work, so could be ridable with some new tyres, tubes and some TLC, and a service.
Maybe this should be in a museum!
On the frontn the headbadge has been replaced with what apperas to be a religius St Christopher type alloy plate with a french message on it (I shall get it translated) | |
