PROFLEX 855 full suspension mountain bike

| Model: Proflex 855 | Frameforks: Aluminium 50cm frame (535mm top-tube) Girvin alloy fork | | Colour: Red | Age: 1995? | | Gears: - | Brakes: Cantilever or V brake mounts | | Handlebars: - | Pedals: - | | Stem: Victor 2 with Tange Dia-compe headset. | Seatpost: approx 26mm | | Saddles: - | Wheels: would take 26 | | Cranks: - | Chainwheel: - | Other details: This is a bit of Downhill mountain bike history, the Proflex 855, World cup design, full suspension, GLS (Ground Linkage System), Girwin front forks with Elastomer suspension front & rear, alot of people removed these to add coil shocks for more travel, apparently these Elastomers take some time to break in, these seem pretty rigid & near no travel.
It all apears in good condition; no cracks dents or re-welds, but the frame has lots of little & large scratches & chips, the alloy components all appear good, there are no bearings just bushes on the pivots.
An interesting, innovative frame and forks, if I do not sell as F&F I will get built up with a Deore XT/LX or Shimano XTR setup (or close) to match up with its original spec.
