Other details: We have here a nice old A.F.Mills racer, made in Welling, Kent, England, has a nice headbadge with Olympic symbol under mans head, frame number S5144.
A nice lightweight double butted frame tubeset, that I would think are Reynolds 531, a good old build spec with Campagnolo Gran Sport rear deraileur & lever, Campagnolo hubs, Benelux rear dropouts (so would have I assume been fitted with Cycle Benelux rear mech), nice ornate lugwork (probably Nervex), Williams cranks & chainwheel (has one damaged cotter pin), all are in good working condition, showing signs of use and age, I haven't even given this a clean, the rear stays & forks were chromed at the ends, but all have rust pitting, nothing structural, but will need re-coating.
This could clean up & be restored to its former glory with a little work, time & money are my problems, or I'd do it myself.
