(scratched over) Alloy. | Pedals: Chromed steel LYOTARD. | | Stem: Philippe alloy (ornate) | Seatpost: Chromed steel | | Saddles: IDEALE 80. Made in France. | Wheels: Alloy Super Champion, Normandy hubs, Galvanised spokes. | | Cranks: ADUPRAT UNIVERSAL. cottered cranks. | Chainwheel: Chromed steel 50 and 46 tooth. | Other details: This is a commemoration bike of the great Oscar Egg, time trial champion from 1914-1926, frame number: 29645, it has had some alterations done through its time, but is in good ridable condition, the gear lever braze on has been ground off (so too has the pump mounts), and simplex levers added to make it 8 speed.
The handlebars have deep scratched where they have been twisted through the stem, but you can still make out the writing.
This is not really meant for restoration, as it is a bit of a rarety, and most people recommend it stay in its near original condition (it has signs of use and age).
It is ridable, with a few alterations it will ride just fine.
With full alloy mudguards, white wall tyres.
