Evans in England, some time in the 1930's, mostly original spec, was restored back in the 1970's, when it was recoated with stone baked enamal, som parts have been replaced/removed, like the rear original Cantilever (Fibrax, Resillion?) brake mechanism (which I still have in the parts bag) that was removed due to a broken cable & replaced with a Weinmann caliper, but with a new cable the original could be re-installed.
The rear saddle is the original Brooks BN5 the front is a replacement (later) Brooks, the hanlebars are the originals, the front has a lovely flowing curve in the Pista style & the rear a more narrow curve in the Maes style.
This is just about ridable, but does need work to bring back to its former glory; brakes need attention, one cotter pin is broken, but I would say an easy resto/project.
This bike belonged to the same family since it was bought new back in the 30's, from father to son it was used until now, when a house move has forced him to find it a new home.
There is some parts in a bag that will come with the bike, as before mentioned; the rear brakes & broken cable with sleeves, also a lovely old 'ding dong' bell, a very old Lucas model C25 Dyno in brass, and front Lucas lamp (not sure if working) probably 1930's also.
