| Model: Time trials racer, with Joe Breeze designed frame | Frameforks: Reynolds 531 competition F&F with Gipiemme drop outs | | Colour: Grey and Silver (2-tone) | Age: 1990's? | | Gears: Campagnolo rear mech, new success front (Sachs Huret) | Brakes: Campagnolo caliper | | Handlebars: 3ttt Competizione drop handlebars | Pedals: - | | Stem: 3ttt Pro light | Seatpost: Softride Suspension (Carbon fibre) | | Saddles: Selle San Marco Titanio 200. | Wheels: 700C Mavic MA 40 rims, Campagnolo hubs, Stainless spokes. | | Cranks: Campagnolo | Chainwheel: Campagnolo 52-AS and 39-AS | Other details: I have here an Orbit time trials racing bike, handbuilt and brazed in England, the frame and forks are made using Reynolds 531 competition tubes, lugged and brazed in the Joe Breeze classic Breezer design, fisrt designed as an early suspension mountain bike frame (a winning downhill design in the early 1990's), these early innovative designs were soon out dated by the shocks that we still have today, but this design was picked up by some of the road bike manufacturers (Orbit being one) as it is a comfortable rigid ride with a flexibility, and a lovely ride it is too!
This has a short wheelbase ideal for time trials, and with the Campagnolo components and early Titanium bar saddle, this was a quality bike in its day.
