| Model: Stepthrough Safety bicycle | Frameforks: 22 inch Butted Steel. | | Colour: Black | Age: 1934? | | Gears: 3 Speed Sturmey Archer K4 | Brakes: Rod pull | | Handlebars: Chromed steel | Pedals: Rubber platform. | | Stem: Chromed steel | Seatpost: Steel | | Saddles: Middlemores Ltd (Coventry) | Wheels: 28 inch | | Cranks: enfield cottered cranks | Chainwheel: Canon motif, chromed steel | | Other details: All as original (missing the original gear shift mechanism), this should be in a museum! not sure of age, but in good ridable condition, with signs of use and age (I would guess a 100 years old).
The paintwork is in average condition, and the chrome is nearly all gone, so it is in need of renovation, but I think sometimes these should be kept in as near original condition as possible, as you will loose the decals etc, which although are faded, are still there.
This is great to ride!
Also includes very old pump.
Collection prefered! as these old one's don't travel well! | |
